Responsibilities:- Investigating workplace complaints and conducting thorough research- Handling employment litigation cases, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, leave interference, and wages and hour claims- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment matters- Developing and implementing strategies to protect clients’ interests- Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
Essential Job Functions:- Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs- Analyzing complex legal issues and providing clear and concise advice to clients- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information and build strong cases- Managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively- Keeping up-to-date with changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.
Skills:- 10-15+ years of experience in labor and employment law- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing high-quality legal services- Excellent research and writing skills- Proven experience in investigating workplace complaints and handling employment litigation- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Washington
