Required Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Good mathematical skills
- Comfortable with measurements (Metric and Imperial)
- Previous sales and customer service experience
- Ability to work with computerized systems
- Demonstrated ability to work a team environment
- Proven skills in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks within a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to list up to 50lbs
- Must have a G License and own vehicle
- Previous industrial experience considered a strong asset
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Offer a diversified line of branded products through incoming calls and over the counter sales
- Process customer orders
- Provide pricing, inventory and technical information to customers
- Make hoses – custom lengths and fittings
- Create invoices
- Communicate with peers in different departments to serve the customer in a timely manner
- Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products sold
- Perform other in store duties as required
The wage for this position starts between $21.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch.
