We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our confidential client located in west Edmonton. This is a golden opportunity to secure a long-term and potentially permanent position with our esteemed client.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage inventory, ensuring optimal levels are maintained
– Weekly reporting required
- Oversee merchandising strategies
– Collaborate with sales and marketing teams
- Create purchase orders (POs) for inventory and merchandising needs
– Generate 2 POs per week
- 1-3+ years of experience in related administrative roles
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory replenishment
- Compile and maintain records related to inventory and orders
- Assist in preparing and generating regular and ad hoc reports
– Use Excel or relevant software
- Provide backup for other administrative roles
– During peak periods or vacations
- Execute special projects as assigned by Operations Manager or related supervisor
**Qualifications & Experience:**
- 1-3+ years of experience in inventory management and/or merchandising
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Candidates must have their own vehicle or a reliable form of transportation
**Hours/Compensation:**
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
- Salary Range: $37,440 – $41,600 – $45,000 per annum, depending on experience
