We are seeking a Food Packaging Worker for our west Edmonton client. Opportunity to extend long term and permanent with the client.
Responsibilities:
– Sort and package food products
– Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
– Strong attention to detail and time management
– Must be comfortable standing for long hours
– Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to Health & Safety policies
– Must have PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): steel toe boots, industrial gloves, safety glasses
Qualifications & Experience:
– Previous food production or packaging experience
– Candidates must have their own vehicle or a reliable form of transportation
Hours/Compensation:
– Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shift
– Starting wage: $16/hour

Job Details:
Heavy Equipment Tech
– Valid driver’s license with a successful recent driver abstract required for the role
– Must have CAT experience in field/shop
– Fully vaccinated or willing to take PCR test every 72 hours at own expense
– Multiple sites in the Wood Buffalo region
– Fly-in fly-out from Edmonton or Calgary
– 7×7 or 14×14 shifts depending on location
– On-road or off-road experience accepted
– Journeyman, 4th year, or 3rd year accepted
– Sites are in Saskatchewan
We’re looking for qualified heavy-duty mechanics to:
– Assemble, maintain, repair, and rebuild heavy equipment with safety in mind
– Troubleshoot and repair equipment
– Perform component replacements, overhauls, and rebuilds
– Provide field diagnosis and repairs
– Interface with customers, product, and sales support
– Contribute to equipment and facility improvements
– Ensure on-site safety requirements are met
– Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Qualifications:
– Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
– Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician
– 3rd/4th year apprentices may be considered based on experience
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
– Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
– Dedication to safety
– Strong field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar mining product line required
