Salary: $18/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems in machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Operate hand and power tools, welding and cutting equipment, and other machinery as required
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that production targets are met
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- Journeyman certification in Millwright trade
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Millwright in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (with flexibility to work weekends and alternate shifts if required)
- Hourly wage of $18.00
