A thriving Sarnia-based establishment is currently seeking four (4) Railcar Loaders to become an integral part of their team. This is a contract opportunity.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of over 3 years in plant operations, showcasing a wealth of experience and expertise
- In-depth familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and an adept understanding of associated rules and requirements
- Possessing a robust technical foundation coupled with exceptional communication skills, ensuring effective conveyance of complex concepts
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, upholding company protocols for safety, environmental preservation, security, and health
- Execute routine manual operational tasks, including non-automated valve manipulation, liquid blowdown from tank cars, recording product temperature measurements, and obtaining corrosion samples
- Conduct regular weekly inspections to ensure operational integrity and safety
- Provide non-routine/non-emergency assistance, including facilitating procedure, drawing, and training material support, as well as handling equipment removal or reinstatement, and completing Job Safety and Environmental Analysis (JSEA) forms
- Prepare tank car rack and equipment for maintenance, meticulously following proper isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols
Wage: $31.49/hour
