We are seeking a Production Manager for our west Edmonton client in a custom metal environment. This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the production team and collaborate with pre-production, drafters, and the management team.
- Ensure efficient operations by setting boundaries, providing timely updates, and aligning the team with production goals.
- Oversee sales timelines and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Lead by example and foster a positive work environment.
- Respect and adhere to internal policies while promoting adherence within the team.
- Prepare the production team for future growth in the upcoming new facility (expected in 5 years).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing teams in a custom metal, construction, or custom fabrication setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to set boundaries, gain team buy-in, and lead by example.
- Strong communication skills, including effective communication with various stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance and inform multiple stakeholders.
- Outgoing and able to build positive working relationships.
