Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team for a short-term contract with potential for long-term employment based on exceptional performance.
This role requires you to work across two locations, making a full driver’s license and access to a vehicle mandatory.
Please Note: While this role does not require you to be a licensed millwright, the responsibilities undertaken are akin to those performed by such professionals. This position presents a great opportunity to contribute to our company’s success and potentially secure a long-term position with our client.
Afternoon Shift
Salary: $20/hour + Shift Premium
Responsibilities:
- Perform facility maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of both locations
- Carry out preventative maintenance on various machines and equipment
- Utilize a range of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
Qualifications:
- Technical aptitude and a mechanical inclination
- Prior experience in facility maintenance or similar roles
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Reliability and a proactive problem-solving attitude
Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with construction, building maintenance, or related fields
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
