Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an Electrical & Mechanical Technologist for an established and busy Industrial Client in Barrie, Ont. This role offers a stable and structured environment with long term potential and growth opportunities.
Shift Schedule & Pay Structure
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wage: $20.00 per hour, to start
Our client is looking for a motivated individual who has electrical-mechanical experience, has performed electrical assembly and or component / hardware installation. The Ideal Candidate will have a college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology
Job Description:
- Assembling and testing Electric Actuators (used in Municipal, Oil& Gas, Food/Beverage & HVAC)
- Prepare the associated test and inspection reports to record results of final assembly
- Calibrate, program and set up electric actuators on valves
- Assess equipment sent in for repair or evaluation
- Review and report incoming material for non-conformances
- Ensure test equipment/tools are calibrated and are suitable for safe work
- Ensure customer equipment is properly tagged and handled to prevent damage

Skills Required:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Can read Schematics
- Attention to Details
- Proficient with Power Tools
- Familiar with Electrical Components and Wiring
- Fast Paced
- Able to deal with repetitive work, and some medium lifting (Up to 40lbs)
