We are seeking an Accounting Support professional for our west Edmonton client. This role provides an opportunity for extension into long-term and permanent employment with the client.
Responsibilities:
- Performing bank reconciliations for both CAD and US currencies, averaging 50 to 80 weekly.
- Collaborating with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams to facilitate accurate posting for bank reconciliation purposes.
- Handling administrative functions that go beyond data entry, including various journal entries and other administrative tasks.
- Facilitating internal coordination; no direct vendor/supplier contact required.
- Possibly assisting with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with bank reconciliations and accounting support tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks, journal entries, and financial data.
Hours/Compensation:
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with additional coverage from September 5th-11th.
- Position duration: Starting with an end date of October 31st.
