Job Summary
Alluvionic is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Employment Assessments) who will serve as a mid-level specialist responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, coordination, and technical services to varying customer levels for various complex and/or controversial recruitment and placement issues. The HRS will apply various staffing techniques and procedures to accomplish a variety of staffing actions effectively.
Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.
Must be able to pass a background Investigation (BI) for a clearance of Public Trust.
Travel: Up to 10% per year
*This is a hybrid position with 4 days per week in-office.*
Salary Range: $60-65k yearly

The Human Resources Specialist (Employment Assessments) performs, but is not limited to, the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert human resources consultant to managers so that staffing issues can be addressed to recommend solutions to resolve the problems and issues.
- Write job descriptors (e.g., task statements, competency definitions) based on a review of job-related information (e.g., position descriptions, training materials)
- Apply legal and professional standards in the design and/or validation of personnel assessments (e.g., Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing, Principles for the Validation and Use of Personnel Selection Procedures, and Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures)
- Apply qualification standards, make qualification determinations, and use seasoned consultative skills to provide the full range of expert-level advisory services related to the staffing and placement program.
- Develop assessments (e.g., structured interviews, situational judgment tests, cognitive
ability tests, job knowledge tests)
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree (Human Resources Management – preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in the duties above supporting a Government Agency
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills when faced with an issue and work independently.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Delegate Examining Certification
- Previous Department of Justice (DoJ) Human Resources experience
- Previous United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) experience
