Job description: We’re hiring a TIG Welder with experience working with stainless and custom sheet metal fabrication.

Duties
– Perform TIG welding on various projects and fabrication.
– Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
– Use plasma cutting equipment to prepare materials for welding.
– Rig and position materials for welding using appropriate tools and equipment.
– Ensure welds meet quality standards and adhere to codes and standards.
– Perform pipe threading and other mechanical tasks as required.
Skills:
– Proficient in TIG welding techniques with a focus on precision and quality.
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
– Experience with plasma cutting equipment and other metalworking tools.
– Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
This position requires a high level of skill in TIG welding and the ability to work on various projects involving duct work, machining, fabrication. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, be able to read blueprints, operate plasma cutting equipment, and have experience with forklift operation. Attention to detail, adherence to codes and standards, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds are essential for this role.
Hours are 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with optional overtime

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
