Job description: Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment
I’m currently searching for an attorney with a background or interest practicing in employment law. We have multiple firms seeking to bring on their next generation talent. The ideal candidate will have a background in employment or civil defense with a desire to independently manage their own caseload.
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of litigation experience
- 1+ years direct experience with employment law including wage and hour and PAGA
- Skilled in drafting, discovery and research, taking and defending depositions, hearings
- Demonstrate autonomy in litigation matters while fostering collaboration with partners on more complex cases
- Superior organization and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Licensed in California
- Trial experience is not required, but is a plus
Environment:
- Mid-size firms, collegial environments
- Flexible remote and hybrid schedules
- Compensation from $125K-175K (DOE), plus bonuses
