Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Cabinet Installer for a custom cabinet making and millwork shop in St Catharines. This is a small workshop type environment seeking a qualified candidate to do residential and commercial bookings and installations throughout the Golden Horseshoe and Niagara Region with their fantastic clients.
This is a full time, permanent vacancy paying a great wage and offering room for advancement with the company.

Responsibilities
- Booking residential and commercial installations
- Installation of custom cabinetry to client specifications
- Remove any existing cabinetry, measure each installation area, prepare the surfaces, and install cabinets according to specifications
- Understand work orders, change orders, and all other related job documents. Shop drawings and requisitions are in AutoCAD
- Ability to use job specific tools to install cabinetry, hardware and trim (hand & power tools, chop saws, measurement equipment)
- Assemble the parts and affix them to the walls; hang shelves, build pedestals and shells, lay tops and affixes door hinges, drawer slides, and handles
Skills for Success
- 3 years custom cabinetry installation experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to prioritize jobs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational skills
- Effective time management and scheduling skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and professionalism
- G license and clean Driving Record
- Own tools (asset)
Schedule
- Monday to Friday between 7:30am – 5:00pm
Wages
- $24.00-$30.00/hr Dependent on Experience
