Salary: $50,000 – $55,000/Year
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our client’s team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and managing a small team. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including group RRSP matching.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in accounting or financial management is required
- Previous experience in an office management or supervisory role is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations regarding office operations and financial management
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the office
- Supervise and provide guidance to 1 to 2 office staff members
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies
- Maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring they are in line with company standards
- Assist with financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and budget management
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management
- Manage employee records, including time and attendance, vacation requests, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as IT support and maintenance services, to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to inquiries from clients, employees, and external parties in a professional and timely manner
- Implement and maintain effective filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined procedures
Wage: $50,000 – $55,000/Year
