On behalf of our client, Express Employment Professionals is searching for a Shipper/Receiver to fill a full-time position in Dartmouth. Our client is a distributor of products for the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- General shipping & receiving duties
- Entering inventory items into the computer system
- Checking incoming inventory for damage
- Counting incoming orders to ensure the right amount was received
- Operate forklift to move inventory around the warehouse
- General housekeeping and warehouse maintenance
- Assisting with unloading and loading of trucks
- Picking, packaging, and shipping orders
Requirements:
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Proven team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable on a computer
- Steel-toed boots
- Previous forklift experience (a valid ticket will be considered an asset)
- Experience in customer service
- Self-motivated, positive, and eager individual with previous experience in a warehouse.
Our client offers:
- Pay is $18-$19 per hour
- Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- No weekends or evenings!
- Location is on a bus route
