Location: Guelph ON- REMOTE once trained
Wage: $24.50/hour
Hours would be 7am to 7pm
Long week – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Short week – Wednesday and Thursday
3 – 20-minute breaks
1–30-minute unpaid lunch
Job Summary:
As a Bilingual French/English Customer Service Agent, you will play a pivotal role for our client in ensuring our customers’ satisfaction and building strong relationships with them. Your responsibilities will involve handling various customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and ticket management. You will need to excel in multitasking and have the ability to navigate a dynamic workday effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate fluently in both English and French to assist customers with their inquiries and concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the English & French language to comprehend and address customer needs accurately.
- Manage ticket queues efficiently, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Handle inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and providing necessary information.
- Utilize various communication platforms, including Teams and email, to engage with customers effectively.
- Exhibit self-motivation and an outgoing personality while working from home.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program in the office for 4 to 6 weeks before transitioning to a remote work setting.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule spanning from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including long weeks (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and short weeks (Wednesday, Thursday).
- Take advantage of three 20-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break during the workday.
- Work efficiently in a multitasking environment, handling various tasks concurrently.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a call center environment, particularly in a customer service role, is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French are essential.
- Excellent comprehension of the English language to ensure effective customer support.
- Self-driven and mature individual capable of working independently from home.
- Availability to work in the Guelph area for potential back-to-office arrangements in 2024.
- Familiarity with SAP is a bonus, though not mandatory.
