Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a related automotive parts role preferred
- Solid knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Utilize computerized systems and automotive catalogs for efficient parts identification
- Familiarity with various automobile makes and models
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Proficient in parts inventory management and stock control
- Stay updated on the latest automotive trends and parts advancements
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with accurate parts handling and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or certifications in automotive parts being a highly valued asset
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying required parts for their vehicles through effective communication and in-depth product knowledge
- Provide accurate and competitive price quotes for automotive parts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Efficiently process parts orders and ensure timely delivery to customers or service technicians
- Maintain an organized inventory of automotive parts and accessories to facilitate easy accessibility and stock control
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure the right parts are available for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive trends and advancements to provide customers with relevant information
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns related to parts, resolving issues professionally and courteously
- Utilize computerized systems and automotive catalogs to efficiently identify and locate specific parts
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling automotive components to ensure a safe work environment
- Proactively suggest alternative or complementary parts to enhance customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities
Wage: $20.00 – $25.00/hour
