Join us for an exciting opportunity to be on the frontline of our HR Transformation as part of the dynamic HR Operations & Compliance Programs team, a trusted Center of Excellence supporting the enterprise. The chosen candidate will split their time leading two key areas: external hire background verification & drug test processing, collaboration and coordination with our talent acquisition team regarding the Employment Application and security screening process as well as the implementation of new technology to track non-employee workforce access.
The successful candidate will be able to positively influence and impact the organization and enterprise by collaborating effectively across functions and internal stakeholders to develop enterprise processes and solutions; demonstrate the ability to set high standards of performance; have an analytical mindset to create, analyze, and utilize factual data; be professional in both word and actions in any situation; seek and apply feedback & new knowledge to adjust accordingly to different environments.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Serving as the main enterprise point of contact for the pre-employment screening program and processes including vendor management
- Ensuring that the pre-employment screening program meets service delivery agreements, management & monitoring goals to evolve the overall program.
- Engaging with multiple partners (Legal, Medical, Business Area, HR peers, and Centers of Excellence) to solve problems as well as adjudicate candidate files
- Managing vendor relationships
- Serving as product owner for implementing a new technology to support non-employee workforce access tracking
- Developing comprehensive project plans that align with existing initiatives underway, or being analyzed, to drive on-time deliverables and taking accountability for meeting key milestones
- Partnering with change management teams
- Assisting with shaping strategic plans and priorities to ensure consistent user experience with a 1LM focus

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum three years of project management, specifically focused on developing and executing against a schedule, in alignment with functional vision/strategy. This includes developing project plans, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results
- Minimum one year experience with Agile project methodologies and/or Waterfall methods
- Minimum three years of vendor management experience with large programs that have a global footprint
- Minimum three years of team lead experience – fostering an inclusive environment, and ensuring deliverables are met on time
- Two+ years of experience with either pre-employment screening program delivery including applicant tracking systems and/or with non-employee workforce practices
Desired skills
- Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, and Peoplesoft, including the ability to run reports
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Familiarity with recruitment processes, preferably LMC’s enterprise process
- Ability to build and maintain fluid relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
- Ability to increase candidate and employee experience through technology and integration of current processes
- Demonstrated excellent executive presence and communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
