Think you’re a funny person? Seasons Retirement Community Wetaskiwin wants you to put it to the test.
In recognition of April being National Humour Month, they are hosting a Comedy Show and Competition and are looking for Wetaskiwin area residents who would like to audition.
Applications are being accepted until April 10.
Comedy routines must be clean with no swearing, offensive set-ups or punchlines.
After auditioning all candidates, three will be chosen to perform at Seasons Comedy Event April 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Peace Hills Room at Seasons, 5430 37A Ave.
The public is welcome to attend the show. To reserve your seat for an evening of refreshments and laughter, call 780-352-4725. The event is free, but organizers are asking attendees to bring a donation for the local food bank.
