Alhaji Nureni Ayinla-Oniru, Chairman, Circulate Alliance (AA), Lagos Narrate Chapter, on Friday rubbished experiences that the candidate of his birthday party for Saturday’s gubernatorial election, Tope AbdurRazaq Balogun, stepped down for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who’s the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Talking exclusively to POLITICS NIGERIA after some social media posts and news experiences claimed that Balogun “stepped down” for Governor Sanwo-Olu, and that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, used to be “instrumental” to the alleged alliance, Oniru acknowledged the claim used to be spurious.

Confirming that the AA candidate and some birthday party officials met with Aregbesola earlier at the glossy time (Friday), Ayinla-Oniru acknowledged Balogun is in the scuttle to safe.

“The AA candidate didn’t step down for anybody. Push aside any news to that assemble. It is the handiwork of manipulators. They ideally suited bent the myth for functions of propaganda.

“Yes, we met with the Minister at the glossy time. But we didn’t agree to step down.
